Team TT headed off for a bit more time in the park while the rest of us headed back to Wasilla to get Molly from the kennel. We enjoyed a rainy drive down…some ice cream…and tuna sandwiches made in the Honda Element!

Lana and I played some backgammon while the rest of the crew went on their bus tour to Polychrome Pass. We only got in one game, though, because we were wiped out from the already long day. Phew! We were asleep by the time the bus crew got back around midnight.

The bunkbeds at the hostel were a bit cramped up top…but the price was right! The 7 of us were fit in snug as a rug…as a bug?? You know what I mean. It got the job done at a good cost….and we all bonded a bit!

There were many moose all dressed up in Talkeetna. This one was sort of like a “Where’s Waldo?” that had onlookers checking out and looking for items glued to it. Like a little treasure hunt.

This is the least of the risky activities during out jaunt north to Denali. The log walking is in Talkeetna. The adrenaline rush was mild…but…it was something.
