Near Independence Mine in Hatcher Pass, there was still SNOW! This was in the parking lot, piled up. Fun to jump up on, though.

BUT, they were so soft…and warm. The lady in the store didn’t tell us NOT to take pictures…but she didn’t look thrilled to pieces that we were. We were quick, though, with the fashion show!

The day was great! We got a bit later start than we probably would have, but I had some things to attend to in Palmer that made us hit the road a might later than I’d anticipated. It didn’t stop us from getting in some shopping, walking the streets of downtown, and enjoying a non-rainy, but slightly overcast day.
