Lana enjoyed these diced up on some of my great homemade pizza! I’ve been perfecting the dough recipe….pretty close to Moose’s Tooth! Now Lana’s just got to perfect her bubbly beverage making!

Man…this was a find! Molly found the first one traipsing through the yard…then Lana inspected the surrounding area and discovered 3 others. Good day!

Burrito Happy!

Thought I’d share that I’m finally back to food with flavor!    Not that I’ll never eat applesauce again, but…I’m happy to have some spice on my rice.  Seems that the upset tummy bug has bugged out…yea!!  Now it’s off to go play some tennis…once the thesis machine is ready for a break, that is!

Rainy day Saturday…

On Wednesday, I was pretty much out for the count. Except, of course, for dragging myself up the stairs, back to bed…and with an occasional hurried rush to the porcelain bus, if you catch my drift. Yuck. I’ve not been sick like this since my freshman year in college. Barf-o-rama. Wednesday was the brunt of it, but even today, Saturday, I’m still feeling not so great. Ugh. At least it’s raining outside today, so I can stay in, eat applesauce, read, nap, and blog a little self-pity your way…

Thanks for the ear. While I do feel mostly better, the sick part that is hanging on could just let go and I’d be jazzed. I’m a bit tired of Gatorade, saltines, and that disappointing look in Molly’s eyes when I merely roll over on the couch instead of jumping up to take her for a trek among the greening trees. Cross your fingers I find health by tomorrow…I’d like some weekend with frivolity and carefree exhilaration! For now, though, I’ll log off and chill out…it’s raining anyways.

Ah…beautiful day! (This was actually the other day, but…today looks just like this!) I really should take Molly to the farm again…poor thing has just been laying in the sun all day while I’m tied to the computer….

Alas…enjoy this photo and envy me. If you desire an Alaskan vacation, though, you’ll have to act fast! (If you want to stay with Lana and I, that is.) We’ll be heading back to California in July…in the prime of summer here. (Can’t account for timing!)
